The 2016 Bumbleride Indie Stroller and the 2016 BOB Revolution FLEX Stroller are both terrific on all terrain, from cracked sidewalks to bumpy trails. However, these two strollers are specialized for different purposes, and in this video, Eli Gurock, co-owner of Magic Beans, explains what makes each of them unique.

The main difference between the Bumbleride Indie and the BOB FLEX is that the Indie is designated as an all-terrain stroller, while the FLEX is designated as a jogging stroller. You CAN jog with Indie in a pinch, since it does have a front wheel that locks straight, but the wheel configuration on the FLEX will give you a much better push. Either way, please don’t try jogging with your newborn, and consult your pediatrician before you take your baby on their first run!

If you’re planning on doing a lot of jogging but you love the look and feel of Indie (and those awesome eco-friendly fabrics!), we recommend the new Bumbleride Speed Stroller, which we’ve covered in other videos here on our Youtube channel!

Hi!
This review doesn’t address one of the most important thing in these all-terrain strollers: the suspension!
Do you have any thoughts of which performs better?

Help! I’m 8 months pregnant and my husband and I are so overwhelmed with stroller / car seat options. We live in the heart of San Francisco and need a stroller that will allow us to bop around, maneuver easily through crowds and aisles.. but ALSO, my husband is a runner and wants the OPTION to run with the baby.. I do not want 2 strollers as real estate in SF is reallllly cramped.. but I don’t want my everyday stroller to be this beast of a running stroller that I can’t use for day-to-day needs…. HELP!

Cheryl Collins says:

Thank you for this awesome comparison! I have just ordered and assembled a Bumbleride Indie, as I think it’s the stroller for me, but am wondering about the footprint and overall size compared to BOB. I’m not a runner, just need a smooth ride for the little guy because we will live overseas where cobblestones are the norm. All my friends get BOB but I want smaller if possible. Is Bumbleride smaller as well as lighter than BOB?

What stroller do you recommend for a small car stroller?

Blurb says:

Hey I called bumbleride and they said that the indie IS intact a jogging stroller but for lower speeds

Magic Beans Question: can you show a video or photo of these two strollers folded side by side for comparison? Thanks!

La Tisha Wright says:

Can you do a review between the BOB and the Baby Jogger Summit X3?

Eric S says:

Can you please do a side by side comparison of the 2016 Duallie and the New Bumble ride indie twin?

Lidija Jovanovic says:

HI, which car seat works the best with bumbleride indie? and can the stroller be folded with car seat adaptors attached? Thanks

Blurb says:

You mentioned the indie is good for all terrain and snow. What about the BOB? There’s a lot of snow and salt where I live during the winter. Will one stroller fair better than the other or will the both be equally good in the snow?

does mbeans ship to canada?
