Best Baby Carriers 2016 | Most Popular | Ergobaby | BabyBjorn | Stokke | Baby K’tan | Moby

Welcome to our review of the best and most popular baby carriers of 2016! Wearing your baby in a baby carrier is a great way to bond with her, keep her calm, and help her learn about the world around her. Babywearing really does help babies cry less, and a good carrier will let you wear your baby comfortable for hours with your hands free!

In this video, our Baby Gear Gurus demonstrate their favorites:

– The Moby Wrap Baby Carrier (1:05): This single long strip of fabric provides snuggly closeness that newborn babies love. Plus, it fits EVERYONE!

– The Baby K’Tan Baby Carrier (5:02): Intimidated by all that wrapping? The K’Tan provides the same snug feel as a wrap carrier with a slightly shorter learning curve.

– The Ergobaby Adapt Baby Carrier (7:34): An Ergo carrier you can wear without an infant insert! The adjustable seat provides a perfect ergonomic fit as your baby grows.

– The 2016 BabyBjorn Baby Carrier One (11:25): An insert-free carrier that positions your baby properly from birth to 33 pounds. Now with more padding, improved side buckles, lockable zippers, and more!

– The 2016 Stokke MyCarrier (15:16): New for this year, you can customize your carrier – if you’re not planning on using the back carrier, you don’t have to buy it! A sporty, stylish, ultra-adjustable baby carrier made for long-time wear.

kissycastaneda says:

as a nanny I’ve used an ergo, a moby, and a baby bjorn. the baby bjorn was horrible once baby was past like 5 months old because the straps dug into my shoulders. the ergo was great because of the padding in the shoulder straps made baby wearing easy. the moby is intimidating at first but once you get it, it’s great. I’m excited to try the k’tan when I have my baby in July.

Facing forward can’t be done back friendly in any carrier – and where’s the M shape of the legs and the bump in the Baby Björn? And there’s a lot of carriers presented that don’t allow the back to form a C-shape

You guys should check out Cincinnati, Ohio for a location.

Hello magic beans! Thanks for the video! Between the ergobaby and the stokke, which one would you recommend for newborn up (and why)? Thank you in advance!

Jomarie Christine Garong says:

What are your thoughts on the Lillebaby all-season baby carrier?

sutefu16 says:

Stokke an Babybjorn cause hip dyslasia.

Solymar Peraza says:

check out emeibaby buziddil or other evolutive ergonomic carriers… the price is the same and you can really carry your baby till they are toddler… baby bjorn sucks is not ergonomic for the baby and nor for the adult ‘(google “crotch hanger baby carriers”)… at 9 kilos most people stop carrying their babies because the baby is “too heavy” but it is really the carrier’s fault… I still carry my 13 kg 2 y-old toddler on the back and can walk with her for hours… this bad things are “popular” because its the only thing you find in baby stores… sadly the good ones you have to buy online and do some research….

Not sure I agree with some of these as being the best baby carriers. There are definitely a few better options missing from the list.
